John has worked in architectural lighting design for over 20 years, applying techniques from theatre lighting to the modelling of space and form in the built environment. He has worked as an architectural lighting designer for Arup Lighting, Electrolight, Bluebottle, and in 2012 established Relume Consulting in collaboration with Rachel Burke as a vehicle for independant lighting consultancy.
